Taxes on silver sales
There is a specific sales tax rate in Maryland. This tax is applied for each sale and represents 6% of the total price. There is no additional sales tax required by individual cities or/and counties. However, this tax is not applied to silver coins and bullion if the total amount of the purchase exceeds $1000.
