The state of Arizona is located in the southwestern region of the U.S. It shares its borders with Nevada, California, Utah, New Mexico, and Mexico. It is one of the ‘Four Corners’ states which experiences desert climate with really hot summers and milder winters. Prior to the coming of the European settlers it was home to the Native American tribes.

Its economy is dependent on government jobs, health care, transportation and not to forget the “five C’s” that comprised of cotton, copper, climate (which means it is a great spot for spending quality time), cattle and citrus!

There is a specific transactions sales tax rate in Arizona. This tax is applied for each sale and represents 5.6% of the price. There are some additional local sales tax required by cities or/and by the county, consequently the total sale tax amount varies between 5.85% and 10.9%.
Actually, this sales tax is not applied to silver coins and bullion purchases in this state.
